KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's All-Americans and University of Chicago's own Ryan Yetishefsky was among the 50 players being honored as the best in the country.
Yetishefsky, who was selected as a second team All-American, tallied 12 goals and had five assists all of which led to a single-season high of 29 points in 2023. The senior had five game winning goals as well including the golden strike in their second-round game against Ohio Wesleyan with less than a minute left to go before overtime. He wraps up his three years with the team with 32 goals, including 16 game winners, and eight assists for a total of 72 points. In the career record books, Yetishefsky is tied for sixth in goals and is eighth in points.
This award, which makes him the 11th USC All-American in team history, marks the third time that Yetishefsky has received a postseason honor following the 2023 campaign. He was named All-UAA first team and earned the conference's title of Co-Offensive Player of the Year and was a first team selection by USC for their NCAA D-III All-Region teams.
